Bio
Even with a closed run, this girl would always find a way out somehow. I decided to name her “Escapé”, and always said it as Dory from Finding Nemo. There’s no other way.
Escapé refused to lay her eggs inside the coop and loved to find new nesting spots throughout the yard. One day, I followed her broodiness back to a nest of TWENTY-FIVE eggs. If anything, this hen was determined to escape the run and have babies. Unfortunately, this led to her demise, as she did not return to the coop one night and was snatched by a critter (I assume opossum).
