Bio

Falcor the Pterodactyl, previously Sir Chirps-a-Lot, came to us through the Nextdoor app. A woman in the area had gotten too many roosters…I was looking for a new one…and here we are! While Falcor is terribly afraid of basically everything, he does faithfully stand watch over the flock – sometimes from a distance – due to other intimidating roosters. In the early days, he would stand tall at the door of the coop, watching for potential dangers and annoyingly asking, “What’s the password?” to every hen coming in from the yard to lay an egg.

He’s the old grandpa that the young up-and-comer roosters shun, but he’s a great asset to the neighborhood watch – especially when new chicks are around.
