Bio
Sora always liked to be involved in what I was doing, mainly by sitting on my shoulder while I collected eggs in the evening. I thought of her like the little sister that tags along because she just wants to be involved, so I named her Sora, which is the Romanian word for “sister”.
She raised a clutch of 17 babies inside the house, because I had a predator that was nabbing the other babies and I didn’t want to lose any more. We had a great trust built between us when it came to caring for the babies. Sora is a wonderful mama and a fun chick to hang out with. Here’s a sweet video of her jumping up and giving me a hug.
